Mr. Dereje Yismaw is the Founder and Owner of Ethioder. Dereje developed his entrepreneurial skills at an early age through managing a chain of family businesses. Driven by curiosity and a deep love for Ethiopia, he travelled extensively across the country, learning about its diverse cultures, traditions, and beliefs.

Inspired by what he discovered, he began sharing Ethiopia’s beauty with visitors, leading to the establishment of Ethioder Tour and Travel. Alongside his success in tourism, Dereje has built a strong reputation in the logistics and import sector, with notable achievements in importing electric vehicles, chemicals, and a wide range of commercial goods. His work in introducing electric vehicles supports sustainable mobility and aligns with Ethiopia’s long-term environmental and economic development goals.
